These controls are used as follows:

Main VCA Volume: DR-300, DR-400 : This control is used to control the over all volume of the

card. With a 10 VDC input to the VCA circuits (either from the VCA input, VCA Bus, or 10 VDC

reference), the range of control is +17 dBm to -80 dBm.

VCA Half Mute Volume: DR-300, DR-400: This control is used to set the volume level of the card

when it is in HALF MUTE or PUBLIC ADDRESS mode. The range of adjustment is from -80 dBm up

to the level set by the MAIN VCA VOLUME control.

Digital Mix Volume: DR-100, DR-300, AB-100: The DIGITAL MIX VOLUME control, along with the

EXTERNAL MIX 'A' VOLUME, EXTERNAL MIX 'B' VOLUME, and occasionally the BUS FEED VOLUME,

make up the mixer section of the Digital Audio Repeater / Mixer cards. The relative volume of

these three (or four) signal sources is set by adjusting these controls while the over all volume

is controlled by the MAIN VCA VOLUME and VCA HALF MUTE VOLUME controls.

External Mix 'A' Volume: DR-300, DR-400: The DIGITAL MIX VOLUME control, along with the

EXTERNAL MIX 'A' VOLUME, EXTERNAL MIX 'B' VOLUME, and occasionally the BUS FEED VOLUME,

make up the mixer section of the Digital Audio Repeater / Mixer cards. The relative volume of

these three (or four) signal sources is set by adjusting these controls while the over all volume

is controlled by the MAIN VCA VOLUME and VCA HALF MUTE VOLUME controls.

External MIX 'B' Volume: DR-300, DR-400: The DIGITAL MIX VOLUME control, along with the

EXTERNAL MIX 'A' VOLUME, EXTERNAL MIX 'B' VOLUME, and occasionally the BUS FEED VOLUME,

Public Address Volume: DR-300, DR-400: This control sets how loud Public Address

announcements will come through on this audio channel.

Buss Feed Volume: DR-100, DR-300, DR-400: Depending on the configuration of the GLOBAL /

MIX BUS, this pot is used to set the volume of signals sent to it or received from it. See the

section and block diagrams on the GLOBAL / MIX BUS for details.

Treble: DR-100, DR-300, DR-400, AB-100: This control is used to adjust the level of the high end of

the SHELVING EQUALIZER.

Bass: DR-100, DR-300, DR-400, AB-100: This control is used to adjust the level of the low end of

the SHELVING EQUALIZER.
